Next Wave Festival

Art represents the creative outpourings of an artist's soul. The Next Wave Festival celebrates fine art at its best. It acts as a platform to showcase the works of Australia's best artists as well as promote and encourage the work of upcoming artists who have yet to make their mark.

Next Wave is traditionally held in May of every even numbered year .Operating for 21 years it has carved a niche for itself in the hearts of art lovers. It is the sole organization in Australia dedicated to supporting budding artists. With a constantly changing art scenario, New Wave tries to keep pace with the trends.

It also supports young film makers and artists of all kinds.

Next Wave is a non- for- profit association incorporated in Victoria and is managed by a Board of Management comprised of representatives from arts, business, education and government. There is an emphasis on such new media as computer graphics, 3- D modeling, animation and video.
