Forum Theatre

It is one of Australia's renowned theaters. It threw open its doors way back in 1929, and had the largest seating capacity of that time.

This lavishly decorated theater is a feast for the eyes. Its exterior is reminiscent of Moorish influences with exotic minarets and clock towers.

The center is a hub of cultural activity. It is one of the best live act venues for showcasing local and international artists. From chart- topping rock bands, stand- up comics and variety shows to publicity events and record launches, the Forum offers a unique experience in entertainment.

FORUM I is a large auditorium on the ground floor and can be used in different ways. As a concert venue this fully listened room has a capacity of 1500.

FORUM II is a smaller venue located on the third level and provides theatre- style seating. With in- house film projectors and surround sound system it is an ideal venue for film screenings. The Melbourne International Film Festival is held here.
