Blue Velvet

This is one of the hottest nightclubs in the city to keep you entertained. It came into being in 1998 and has since grown in popularity. It appeals to the young crowd.

It features two levels, each with a bar, and plays a diverse range of music. On Thursdays, DJs Kristian and Corrado play techno and house, while on Fridays it moves to a different beat.

Blue Velvet has two fully stocked bars to satiate your thirst. The main bar on the ground floor has tap beer as well as an extensive range of boutique beers. Their wine list is a connoisseur's delight.

They have an extensive wine list sourced from some of the best wineries in Australia, New Zealand, France and Italy. A full selection of cocktails is also available from either bar. On Level 2, there is the nightclub space with dance floor and another bar.

It now possesses a swanky new multi media gallery. It can accommodate 80 people and can be used to host events or exhibitions.
