As the name suggests, this museum is dedicated to the proud achievements and glorious sacrifices made by the Australian Air Force. Located at Cook's Point. Which is the birth place of the Australian Flying Corps and the Royal Australian Air Force, the museum takes you on a nostalgic journey to the past history of the second oldest air force in the world.

The RAAF Museum is home to Australia's biggest collection of memorabilia and aircraft relating to the rich history of the Australian Flying Corps and the Royal Australian Air Force.

You can view the state –of- the- art galleries and enjoy flying demonstrations hosted by their pilots. Using multi media technology it traces the history of the force right from its humble beginnings in World War 1 to its present level of technical excellence.

As a fully operational flying unit of the RAAF, the museum maintains a fleet of airworthy aircraft, which take to the skies on special days (aircraft include a Mustang, Harvard, Winjeel, Vampire, replica Fokker Triplane and Sopwith Pup). It also contains other items of historical interest like uniforms and other artifacts.

Hours: 10a- 3p Tu- F, 10a- 5p Sa- Su & public holidays.
